A mixture of marketing campaigns, OOH advertising and a Sky TV ad for Hampshire County Council.

Hampshire’s Fostering Service required a marketing campaign and TV ad in the lead up to Christmas to recruit new foster carers.

The advert focused on real experiences of fostering, written and narrated by local carers. My role was to bring their stories to life through warm, engaging visuals. After presenting three concepts to the client, an illustrative approach was chosen. I began by sketching the illustrations by hand, before refining them in Illustrator, then animating each scene in After Effects.

The ad connected with Sky and ITV viewers across Hampshire, resulting in a huge increase in enquiries following the launch.
